And you know what? It all works just fine. They all work exactly how they did in the original game without any concessions made for the sake of immersion. It turns out no, not a single one of those things has been redesigned for virtual reality. Would you be able to barricade doors and windows, push over ladders, and move around the cabin as effortlessly as you could in the original? How would RE4VR handle things like inventory management while avoiding too much menu navigation that would ruin immersion? Even kicking, an essential tool for creating space between you and your enemies RE4, would have to be reimagined for VR, right? At the time, I was imagining how Armature Studio might have adapted RE4вЂ™s mechanics to fit VR.
